Jammer ek was/is so skaars, maar dit gaan maar rof by die werk en huis. Die tyd van die jaar raak my voete skaars grond. Dit laat my weer dink aan hoe vinnig die jare verby vlieg. Dit lyk vir my hoe ouer ek raak hoe vinniger gaan die jare verby, of is dit my verbeelding?
Aangesien dit die tyd van die jaar is, sal ek graag wil hoor by julle hoe hou julle Kersfees en wat is almal se slim idees oor geskenke gee. Ek is gladnie 'n "shopper" nie, so Kersfees is altyd vir my 'n nagmerrie. Ons familie se reëling is gewoonlik soos volg: Almal koop net vir mekaar se kinders en nie die grootmense nie, behalwe natuurlik die Oumas en Oupas. Dit werk vir ons. Jy koop ook slegs vir die kinders wat Kerfees by julle is. Ons is redelik verpsrei oor die land en sien mekaar nie elke Kersfees nie.

Eerste keer wat ek jou blog lees en die punt wat jy aanraak laat my koue rillings kry!
Alweer Kersfees! Ons koop ook maar net vir die kinders. Ek en my man is altwee die enigste kinders - gelukkig is daar nie baie kinders nie! Ons het 2 dogters. Ons vriende kom kuier gewoonlik uit Gauteng uit vir ons oor Kersfees (ons bly in Gordonsbaai). Die beste ding vir kinders is CD's, DVD's en vir die groter kinders (sou sê so 14 en ouer) 'n voucher. Hulle hou daarvan om self vir hulle iets te gaan koop - al is dit ook Woollies of Edgars of Musica. Tensy jy natuurlik weet of daar iets spesifiek is wat die kind wil hê.
En sit sommer 'n boxie chocolate of stringetjie stokkielekkers by - hulle hou tog almal van lekkergoed! En dan lyk dit ook 'meer'.
Sterkte, ek begin nou al vir my kinders goedjies koop op uitverkopings en steek dit weg bo in die kas!

My grootste probleem is dat al die meisies en seuns min of meer dieselfde moet kry, want almal kyk met groot oë as iemand iets gekry het wat hulle nie gekry het nie. Ek dink 'n lekker voucher van CNA of Musica moet die ding kan doen. Dit klink miskien onpersoonlik, maar eintlik is dit baie persoonlik, want dan kan hulle self iets kies wat hulle graag wil hê. Wat ons dink is cool en oulik, is nie noodwendig vir hulle nie. Ek dink dis die veiligste opsie!
Maar sterkte hoor, ek wil rerig nie in jou skoene wees vir die ene nie! Jy weet hoe voel ek oor shopping!
Dellie, nou weet jy presies hoe ek voel, maar nou moet jy weet 6 van die kinders bly in Louis Trichardt en Woolies ens.. is nie daaglikse besoek plekke vir hulle nie.
Miskien sal ek maar die kontant opsie oorweeg met 'n string lekkers daarby. Dan spaar ek my senuwees en voete.

Jong, ek kan goed identifiseer met jou probleem! Ons is ses kinders, en tussen ons is daar 'n swetterjoel kinders! Ons koop ook maar net vir die kinders. Moet se, vir die kleintjies, werk 'n klomp, klein, cheap geskenkies goed. Die ouer kinders verkies geld of 'n voucher. Maar cheap of te not, dit kan jou 'n paar rand uit die sak uitjaag! Ek is mal daaroor om geskenke te gee as ek WEET iemand gaan daarvan hou. Pes dit weer as dit soort van 'n verpligting is.
Annie, ek dink jy het jou antwoord reeds gekry en dis nie maklikste om vir hulle iets te gee in die lyn van voucher. Kyk of hulle 'n Mall het, en gee vir hulle 'n plaaslike Mall voucher dan kan hy/sy koop wat hulle wil.
Dis vreeslik as mens dink aan die tyd en hoeveel geld dit kos. Op die einde kos dit 'n klein huisie vol geld.
Maar sterkte met jou besluite ... Nou wonder ek, wat gaan ek vir my Steyn koop op 12 .... Mmmmm wonder nou!!
